VK Saint Petersburg

The VKontakte office in St. Petersburg is located on two floors in the building of the historic “U Krasnogo mosta” (At the red bridge) department store. The main task of the architects was to create a new comfortable and inspiring space for the company's employees, while organically complementing the existing headquarters in the Singer House (or the House of the Book).

The building of the Esders and Scheffals Trading House is an architectural monument of federal importance, which inspired the architects to create an ideal office in a historic building.

The two floors differ from each other in terms of planning and design. On the seventh floor there is a huge hall under a glass roof.

On the fifth floor, the architects retained the historical stucco decor elements of the ceilings, leaving them on the open air. Bright colors play the main role in the design of the floor: the restored brickwork is contrasted with bright coral, corporate blue, and turquoise.
